The Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development’s new Board of Directors was appointed by H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council in the Resolution No. (40) of 2010 issued in July 2010.

The Board of Directors chairman is HE Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development (DED) and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp). H.E Faraj Bin Hmouda Al Dhaheri is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The board of directors is comprised of 16 members and includes representatives from the public sector, the private sector, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), and the Businessmen Councils:

The public sector members:
